Stand Up for Medicaid: Protect Services for People with I/DD

Congress needs to hear from you today. The newly released House budget framework calls for drastic cuts, with a proposed $1.5 trillion reduction over the next ten years. Among these cuts is a plan to slash at least $880 billion from Medicaid, a program that is vital to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

If these cuts move forward, they will deeply impact Medicaid funding, jeopardizing the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) that people with I/DD rely on to live independently in their communities.
