Public Comment Opportunity: Proposed OPWDD ADM

The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is seeking public comment on a proposed Administrative Directive Memorandum (ADM #2018-09R2).

The proposed ADM would update and replace the current directive, including revisions to the qualifications of Habilitation Professionals, clarification of billing standards, and added flexibility for providers in the development and implementation of Staff Action Plans.

DDAWNY will be reviewing the proposed directive and submitting comments. Members are encouraged to share feedback and perspectives as part of this process.

Comments are being accepted through April 22, 2026, and will be reviewed prior to finalization.
