DDAWNY is sharing a new funding opportunity available to nonprofit organizations across Western New York through the WNY Forward Fund, a collaborative initiative led in part by the John R. Oishei Foundation.
The Civic Health & Common Ground Grant Opportunity focuses on supporting organizations that are working to:
- Strengthen civic infrastructure
- Increase public understanding of key issues
- Advance community-driven action
- Protect human rights and democratic participation
A total of $1 million in funding will be distributed over two years, with grants ranging from $50,000 to $100,000 annually. Funding may be used for general operating support.
Who Can Apply:
Nonprofit organizations serving the eight counties of Western New York are eligible.
How to Apply:
The process begins with a brief Expression of Interest, followed by additional conversations with selected applicants.
