The Developmental Disabilities Alliance of Western New York (DDAWNY) is pleased to share this important advocacy opportunity from our partners at New York Disability Advocates (NYDA).
On Monday, March 10 at 11:30 AM (EST), NYDA will host a Capitol Rally at the New York State Capitol to call attention to the need for adequate funding for disability services in the New York State budget. This rally is an opportunity for providers, advocates, families, and individuals to come together and reinforce the message that meaningful investment in disability services is essential.

Participants are encouraged to wear orange as a visible show of unity and support. Please plan to allow additional time to pass through Capitol security, including metal detectors and x-ray screening, in order to access the War Room.
